inspired by Sappho’s words: “I long for celebration with sudden joy!”
Amidst the apparent constriction of a challenging time,
consider JOY as a freeing lubricant Divine!
What to delightedly anticipate:
- Dance and drum on the longest day of the year.
- Sing with hearts tuned to joyful melodies.
- Live music with Michael and Chiara Chiaravelotti on drums, leading us as Dancers and Singers of Life.
- Playfully twine the Tree of Life, supporting the rebalancing of our beloved planet Earth, to Mother Gaia’s delight.
Special Highlights:
- The Trickster Coyote Zas Marihugh will bestow magical boons and oracles from his Cauldron of Fulfillment.
- Participate with a small giveaway gift to add to the Cauldron of Fulfillment (e.g., crystals, symbols, talisman, small pewter pieces, etc.)
Your presence and contribution will make this celebration a tapestry of joy and connection. Let’s dance, sing, and weave magic together in celebration with sudden JOY, co-creating together our mid-summer festivities!

Who: Sanctuary Heart Community, All ages and genders welcome
(Children who can hold ceremonial space)
What to Bring: A small potlash, give away gift, a flower, musical instruments, a picnic share, poetry, stories, celebrative offerings to honor Her High Holy day of Mid Summer!!
ATTIRE: Whimsical, frolic-wear: playful, mythic, magical, delightful, fun.
PLEASE REGISTER SO WE HAVE THE APPROPRIATE AMOUNT OF SUPPLIES
Gates will open at 11:30 Ceremonial circle starts at Noon.
Please give yourself enough time to arrive & park, make a flower head wreath and be in place by noon!
Finger foods for sharing afterwards. We will be providing napkins and plates, honey Meade to make toasts..If you wish to bring your own eco-friendly plates etc.. please do.
A thick blanket or preferably a camp chair to sit on. (This is a beautiful tree shady area so please bring a sweater in case it is cloudy and hat for sun).
A flower to use in the ceremony to represent your intention for what you are dreaming into being this Turn of the Wheel.

DIRECTIONS: OFF 101 SOUTH ~ TAKE EXIT 455 ONTO SAN FREITAS PKWY EXIT ~ TURN LEFT, TAKE A SLIGHT RIGHT TURN ONTO CIVIC CENTER DRIVE, AT THE ROUNDABOUT, TAKE THE THIRD EXIT ONTO MEMORIAL DRIVE, THEN TURN LEFT AT ARMORY DRIVE, JUST BEFORE THE DOG PARK, THEN GO TO THE FURTHEST POINT IN THE PARKING LOT, PARK AND LOOK LEFT AND YOU’LL SEE A GROVE OF TREES WITH OUR JOYOUS ENERGY MAGNETIZING YOU TOWARD US!!
