Dear Beloved Community, How can you make a conversation about the dead exciting? Talk to Perdita Finn. I was so pleasantly surprised to find her book Take Back the Magic: Conversations with the Unseen World to be genuinely fascinating. I have never felt drawn to the ancestral point of view, and after this book, I had to rethink my position. Not only was it full of information about things like how to create a relationship with and summon the dead, it was in the meantime a compelling story narrative about her own life and the healing of her extremely difficult relationship with her father AFTER he died.  She shares about how we can collaborate with the dead to fulfill our desires on Earth, writing convincingly about so many instances where she witnessed that possibility eventuating. She shares about death releasing us from the shortsighted preoccupation and mistakes of a single life. She says that souls often feel tremendous regret about their behavior that makes for a strong motivation for them to help us, to atone for their hurtfulness. This book also assists us in making better choices while we are alive and can work things out with our difficult relationships.
