Dear Ones, This deeply moving novel The Wolf Border offers a profound meditation on the relationship between humanity and the wild, operating less as a standard political or environmental novel and more as a mythic journey into the untamed soul. The Wolf Border suggests that humanity\'s spiritual crisis stems from an exile from our own wildness. By inviting the shadow, the predator, and the untamed elements back into our field of vision, we do not invite destruction—we rather invite wholeness, restoring the ancient, sacred balance between civilization and the Earth. The wolf represents the unbowed, instinctual self—the part of the psyche that society tries to cage, domesticate, or kill.   Just as our natural world suffers from the absence of its apex predator wolves, (leading to over-grazing and ecological imbalance), the human spirit stagnates when it completely severs ties with its visceral, biological connection to the Earth. The return of the wolf becomes a metaphor for allowing untamed truth, intuition, and the recognition of our innate interdependence as different species, that is essential to our survival on Earth..  Please join us for this exciting conversation about what the honoring and reintroduction of the wolf back into ecosystems actually means to the well-being of our lives as humans. Please bring anything you wish to share about Wildness, Wolves or whatever will inspire our exploration of this important topic of species interdependence.
