A Muse, Author and Visionary for the Rise of Cooperative Culture
Visionaries don’t predict the future, they invent it!” Vyana
Vyana’s latest book, “The Domination Game — Breaking Free: A Visionary Guide to the Rise of Cooperative Culture” (available on Amazon ) offers a vision for humanity’s flourishing future of decentralized living, cottage industry, and returning to community interdependence – all for the purpose of finding more time and space to bring out the unique gifts (and talents) each of us were born to offer. Think vibrant artist colony.
This is not a book about resistance. It is a guide to re-membering wholeness. It’s the template for conscious communities—where wisdom replaces hierarchy, reciprocity replaces exploitation, and love becomes the organizing principle of life on Earth. It is both revelation and roadmap—a daring call to remember who we are and reclaim the sovereign power of cooperation. Blending mythic storytelling, social insight, and spiritual wisdom, Vyana invites us to step beyond survival and embody the full potential of our humanity..
Vyana’s life is a living myth, shaped by rebellion, resilience, and radical reinvention. Again and again, she’s broken through limiting beliefs to create a life that empowers freedom for all.
At age 3, she faced food and financial insecurity—so she became an entrepreneur.
At 5, bored in kindergarten, she taught everyone long-division.
At 10, denied the right to play football with boys, she later became captain of her college’s women’s intercollegiate football team.
At 19, during a year abroad in Istanbul, she witnessed the oppression of women—so she became both an attorney and a self-defense instructor.
At 22, she overcame her greatest fear (sharks), when she learned to SCUBA dive in the cold and dark Salish Sea near her hometown of Tacoma, Washington.
By 28, she was writing non-profit legislation for Congress and winning a national award for her activism (empowering employees on Capital Hill). That’s when she realized that real change doesn’t trickle down from power structures, it grows from the roots up.
At 30, she walked away from civil rights litigation and created her own law firm built on empowerment and the radical idea that clients should feel cared for—not controlled.
Not knowing how to escape the box of apartment living in Oakland, she bought a sailboat in the San Francisco Bay and lived aboard for a decade.
At 35, disillusioned by the empty promises of the “American Dream,” she met her Faerie Godmother, Ariel Spilsbury, and stepped into the myth of the mermaid to reclaim the parts of herself she had long suppressed—her Divine Feminine. She established the non-profit arm of the 13 Moon Mystery School in anticipation of the future temple’s emergence.
When she couldn’t find mystical attire to reflect this inner change, she opened a nonprofit Goddess shop where women could walk in tired and stuck—and walk out mythically transformed. Although the store was eventually sold, she still offers “mythic makeovers” one-on-one.
As Vyana stepped more fully into her mystical mermaid persona, she hosted an international mermaid convention hosting 33 magical mermaids from around the world at Harbin Hotsprings.
Now living on the Big Island of Hawaii, Vyana swims on the reef, tends her syntropic garden (see photo below), and writes children’s books to help others dive into the wonder of nature and transformation through story and play.
As a living Muse, she is currently inventing an atmospheric water generator called “SkySpring” that will provide clean drinking water to each household right out of thin air. It will be a housed in a beautiful glass orb that hangs from the ceiling.
She is also developing a compact wastewater unit that will process waste right at the source with each flush. Coupled with alternative electricity, these technological developments will offer humanity greater freedom to live on Earth in a more regenerative way, allow for more autonomous off-grid options, and thereby lower the cost of land.
To launch the next chapter of her own life in alignment with this vision, her magical mermaid bed & breakfast is now for sale so she can relocate and embody this dream with those who share her values.
“The future of humanity isn’t something we wait for—it’s something we create, together.” Vyana
