Levity: is defined as humor or frivolity, especially in the treatment of a serious matter with humor.
Let’s begin with a profoundly sagacious bit of wisdom: May those who love us, love us and those that don’t love us, may God turn their hearts; and if S/he doesn’t turn their hearts, may S/he turn their ankles so we may know them by their limping!!
(Now who was offended by that?) Let’s consider why, if you were.
Can you see the wisdom of this position in consciousness? Does it make you frightened to consider such an unpredictable possibility of divine interface? Levity and the Crazy wisdom path are not for the feint hearted, they are for those who actually WANT to give and receive clear, honest reflections of themselves from which to grow and change as souls. Let’s really look at our predicament in consciousness as human beings. If the only reflections your ego will allow or take in, are reflections that support your limited sense of ego identity..ie. through preferring to listen and take in, only praise, appreciation, and even flattery from those close to you that you deem to be safe reflections, YOU ARE NOT SEEING AN ACCURATE PICTURE OF THE WHOLE OF WHO YOU ARE!
