To recap, Juliana shared a dream about seeing an “S” in the stars that felt like home…. Could that “S” have been a Snake symbolically in the stars – or the shape of the constellation of Scorpious? Just at that time we were shifting from Scorpio into a New Moon in Sagittarius and a Solar Eclipse… Moving from descending into the depths of the murky sub- conscious and emotional realms into rising and reconnection- breakthroughs and return of our light. “ The alchemical process of Nigredo : Earth: clearing the ‘dark mass’ of wounding in the emotional body… in this process, one passes from the Sun sinking into the well to the ‘S’ nake piercing its shell.” From The 13 Moon Oracle by Ariel Spilsbury. Surrounding that part of ourselves in love that IS the protection from disintegrating despair.  Also literally sending this gentle path of protection to our Native American sisters and brothers who given current circumstances may feel adrift or disconnected from Spirit from hope. May we all see and choose to walk the path of love that naturally embraces and guides us on a journey that has our best interests at heart.  I also shared my dream of invoking Kali in order to protect my sister and then becoming so overwhelmed at the orgy of power that flowed through me that I just wanted more and more – finally being brought back into my heart and immediately relinquishing my need for more and more power by none other than a small white kitten softly placing her paw on my heart… it took a being of super SOFTNESS to bring me back- what an awesome juxtaposition of images—- Kali lost in a volcanic dance of power to the polar opposite simplicity of SOFTNESS and gentleness of tiny white kitten touching my heart… I still shudder at the disturbing visceral lesson of how addictive the desire for power can be within ourselves and our culture presently… We know that Kali in her transcendent function is ultimately and fiercely devoted to love and to our liberation from the illusion’s we create in our lives. Out of her loving compassion Kali assists us in the great work of removing our egoic attachments and aversions. She catalyzes change and also asks us to look at our personal and collective unresolved anger and rage. This feels so timely. Synchronously our Sanctuary Solstice Celebration Live and on Zoom December the 18th will partly be dedicated to evoking Kali in her loving compassion for our collective liberation. This will be a powerful Winter Solstice indeed!
