Thank you all for our sweet gathering this morning. Today’s call re-energized, re-ignited a flame within me that felt diminished as of late.
My focus has felt a bit scattered, as I feel as I am sure you do also, that there is so much calling for our immediate attention, our love, our healing, our forgiveness, strength and prayers. War, Politics, Roe vs. Wade, Climate change, Fires, Tornados, Covid, Absurd Celebrity Dramas, Recession, Health issues, not to mention whatever is going on with your own self and families …..I mean the list goes on and I am noticing there seems to be a feeling of general overwhelm and exhaustion that could easily give over to defeat swirling around our collective consciousness. As I mentioned going to bed last night, I had a challenging time focusing my intentions and prayers – in frustration, I simplified by going back to the breath and I heard clearly before drifting off to sleep…”Don’t Give Up!”

Sophia’s share today brought me to tears –the beauty, the sheer power of our humanity’s spirit to “Never Give Up” as Diana Nyad expresses in her Ted Talk soooo good! A powerful and perfect synchronous reminder – that we have way more strength to pull from than we can ever imagine. I loved hearing the excitement and hope Sophia shared for her creative business projects and life in general…refreshing thank you!
In the way of our dream shares, Ariel shared a vision within her dream of two male figures, Adam and Krishna – with Adam reaching out a strong arm and hand and Krishna extending his strong arm and hand so that they embraced in warrior style – the feeling of ’We are going to get this done,” was prevalent. I am grateful for this energy to show up and may it be so in our collective and within each of us, the masculine showing up in spiritual warriorship cooperation, for our Gaia, for our dear humanity and all beings.

I shared a dream about how my darker shadow aspect was led into talk therapy with a shaman/psycho-therapist. Though somewhat uncomfortable, I was conscious of how calm, reasonable and intelligent this dis-owned part was, most especially because someone was taking the time to respectfully acknowledge and address it.
It reminds me of the story of The Lindworm as told by master storyteller Martin Shaw.
Here is the link to a short 9min. video with graphics of the story as told by Martin. Imagine how you might feel after being thrown away – sent off into exile you might not feel too kindly towards others and the longer you are disowned so may the strength of your resentment grow- so too can it be with some of our shadows or exiled parts of self.
As Amber intoned…”I love my shadow as I love my light!” Learning how to address, acknowledge and hold these parts of self into wholeness. In the shadow, the wounding, the challenge, the negredo lies the alchemical gold of transmutation.
