Hello beloveds,
I have been a Temple Keeper holding the light of the Priestess Archetype for over 30 years. During this time, I have witnessed women and men coming forward, and declaring themselves as Priest/ess, dedicated to the feminine principles that help us to awaken, and sharing our gifts with the world. In my archetypal training through the 13 Moon Mystery school the Priest/ess comes as the third face of the goddess. Her inner mantra is “ I amplify in stillness”. This creates the opportunity for each of us to quiet our mind, to move into our heart and from this place in consciousness the deepest qualities and path become revealed through us. One of our gifts illuminated through our devotion is to use ceremony and ritual to connect us through the lunar cycles back into how we walk in harmony and balance with the natural world. We have a direct way of perceiving inward connection with the Divine Feminine.
In my life I have been called to devotion as a Scent Priestess, one who has been called by the ancestors of the mystic temples to bring forth the holy oils through the ancient art of anointing and to pass on the knowledge of this lineage. I felt called to share with you a practice from my childhood that you can use for yourself or share with your children. Feel free to change the wording to suit your own belief system and practice. This is a ceremony that I did with my mother and grandmother to call in the feminine face of God called the Shekinah, and it has evolved over the years to include the Magdalene’s Blessing. Before you begin you will need a bowl to fill with water and use as your blessing bowl, any essential oil of your choice or olive oil, A candle , and an optional prayer shawl. We did this as the sun was setting on Friday evening as the sabbath began. Now you are ready to begin.

“OM MANI PADME HUM…Living your life consciously allows you to choose to compassionately embrace everything that is taking place in your world at this time. Living your life fully conscious with an open heart full of compassion embracing it all, everything you see, all the trespasses, all the injustice..and bringing your compassionate presence, bringing it all into the heart of compassion of your own heart temple to be transmuted into Love again. My message this moon is an invitation to be the light bearers of this planet that you are, to be present…to be awake, to be fully here now! Take a deep breath..

Preparing the Blessing Bowl to receive the Magdalene’s Blessing
1. Prepare your blessing bowl for ceremony and add 3 drops of your anointing oil stirring the water with your left hand and allowing your voice to begin to chant the sound of Ma.
2. Dip your fingers in the water and place it anywhere on your body that is carrying weariness, or heaviness that you are ready to release. Take your time, think about applying it to your crown, your third eye, your throat, your heart, your solar plexus, your womb… We are preparing the body for the ritual of anointing and purifying first, with the holy water. Now you are ready for the invocation, which is a call to action.
3. “I Call forth the power of the divine feminine wisdom through the holy Light of the Shekinah. Fill me with your love, make me an instrument of your peace, Open my heart that I may receive your blessing and guidance. Blessed Be”
4. Take your holy oil in the palms of your hands and roll the oil to infuse it with your essence. Open the bottle and breathe in the scent and begin to merge with the soul of the plant spirit held by the oil. Ask the oil to carry the blessing that you are invoking in your anointing of yourself. This creates the sacred marriage.
5. Pour a few drops of oil in your hands and rub them together to begin to awaken the energy in the center of your palms. This begins to activate your hands of light. Place your palms in front of your face and breathe in deeply three times moving your hands up and over your head expanding the energy in your auric field. Now you are ready to anoint your body. As you are self- blessing with the holy oil invite the Magdalene’s presence to be with you. Now, your hands place the holy oil on your body, and you say the words, “I AM HOLY, I AM FILLED WITH DIVINE LIGHT”. Take your time and use as much oil as you need to anoint yourself.
6. The ancient Essenes used this practice as a means of preparing to enter higher consciousness and visualizing their immortal “Robe of Light”. To symbolize the robe, you may want to place a prayer shawl covering your head or on your shoulders.
7. Now you are ready to light your candle and give the Magdalene’s Blessing. Once the flame is burning, you stand in front of the candle, and you bring the energy of the element of fire as the HOLY Flame of Light by reaching out toward the flame and bringing the energy and the light back towards your body. You do this while you are speaking the Magdalene’s Blessing.
8. The Magdalene’s Blessing;
9. We Call you forth now, Eternal Mother of Light, Sovereign of the Universe. We gather in your name to raise the flame of our devotion. Praise to you, Eternal Mother, Bless all who gather here in your name, Surround us in the Light of your divinity, Declare us as sacred and holy vessels of your love. Robe us in your garment of limitless light. Praise to YOU Eternal Mother, Bless us with your divine grace and bring us the courage to become your emissaries of Love. Amen
10. I invite you to stay in this energy for as long as you can. In completion I ask you to POUR out the water in your blessing bowl, as a gift to mother earth, as a release of anything that has been held in the element of water. (Pour into a plant if you cannot go outside.) This releases the energy of this ritual. You can keep the flowers and refill the bowl if you desire.

They have been messengers for the archetypal realms who interface and seed divine, creative possibilities through the non-linear nature of dreams. For the collective community, oftentimes they were harbingers of events providing an immediate opportunity to act on the messages delivered from higher realms. It is for all these reasons, that we gather as a Dream Weaver Circle. If, as an aspect of your Priest/esshood, you perceive of yourself as a conscious Dreamer in these reflections, then join us in service, by submitting dreams that have this mythic, collective, archetypal and transpersonal quality.
This Dream Weaver’s circle focuses on dreams that are archetypal and mytho-poetic in nature. It is the intention of this offering to look for the larger patterns in the collective Dreamfield that are emerging through the lens of the conscious dreaming of the priest/esses in the circle. As well, themes can be suggested for our conscious dreaming of reality, that can and do affect the collective Dreamfield matrix.
It is not the intention of this circle to analyze or necessarily even to respond to the dreams, as each recipient will garner his/her own wisdom, inspiration and gifts from sharing a given dream. However, if you choose to respond by lucidly entering the Dreamtime to share and commune telepathically, that is certainly being encouraged!

From our first two “Books as Sacrament” circles, as a follow up to the mystical map presented in LSD and the Mind of the Universe, and Nada Brahma: The World is Sound, this third book is like a practical “how to” manual for navigating dimensionally, in the direction these other two books were pointing us. It is “about” alchemy, put into a very expanded consciousness context.
Alchemy is usually seen as a very arcane and inscrutably mysterious coded language. This book makes it much more user friendly and accessible to decode the wisdom held within alchemy! Catherine MacCoun gives us wisdom from the point of view that alchemical magic never defies the laws of nature, but rather observes the workings of those laws at an earlier stage than is evident to the physical senses. She goes into depth about the subtle senses that pick up where the physical senses leave off. She shares about the perception that when journeying in the vertical dimensions, there is a desire to make horizontal sense of what is perceived in the vertical and it is what differentiates mysticism from gnosis. To come back from the vertical with something intelligible to report is the way of the sage or seer. It is that ability to come back from dimensional experience with gnosis (direct knowing) and be able to express it to others in some form, is what we will be looking at together in this “Books as Sacrament” circle!
