Hey Novelty junkies..
Today’s tea party was so very delightful! Thank you for gathering from all over the world to share lightening laced lemonade for example in our Novel-TEA mugs! Our challenge until the next Soul Salon is very simple: to break through the grey of predictability by offering novel responses to deeply rutted language such as “How are you?” “What do you do?” etc. to bring new life and freshness to language and thus to your experience. Actually the wakening process has alot to do with novelty, surprising someone into looking for a moment, at something you have said differently, something opens up and wakes up for a moment outside of predictable responses. And more importantly WE waken when we use language in a novel and surprising way, not to speak of the creative flow that tsunami’s into form, as we live life in that novel way!

How to Invite Novelty

10. Do NOT repeat your storyline or anything you have heard yourself say before!
2. Give up being logical and making sense in favor of whimsy and playfulness!
0. Recognize we’re all just playing. Without expectations, there are no right or wrong actions or answers, just playful responses.
13. Consider adopting as an affirmation. I WILL NOT BORE GOD/ESS!
l. Forget KNOWING anything. Be a Fool. Dive into not knowing where your next word is headed.
34. Make the familiar STRANGE and of course conversely, the strange FAMILIAR!
8. Jump on the Unhinge-Your-Awareness-Train, because it’s headed toward “The Dying Laughing Room!”
3. Don’t be tricked, limited or suckered in by any EITHER/OR reality bases. Harmonize. Support. Make a Yes..And Reality.
l. Stretch to play with the ball of consciousness that is being batted around, without worrying about whether you catch it or not!
5. Practice changing directions instantly..fluidity and adaptability are hallmarks of higher consciousness.
21. Be mysterious, unpredictable, spontaneous. Now just “How aren’t you today???”
55. Be willing to go free-form, non-linear, non causal and see where you end. Up. You may think its just in Nonsense New Mexico, but then so mistakenly did Alice!
89. Recognize that there is a higher order amidst what looks like chaotic nonsense. It’s a matter of how expanded your lens of consciousness is!
Dive in! The Rabbit Hole has no bottom, for if it did, novelty would have a ceiling!! TEE HEE!! Whoppee!!
